Less than three weeks before Election Day, Vice President Mike Pence visited Grand Rapids to campaign for President Donald Trump’s reelection. The event was held outside Lacks Enterprises near Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Pence talked about issues ranging from the economy, support for the police, providing more benefits for veterans and Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

“The road to victory runs right through Michigan,” Pence said as he addressed a crowd of a few hundred people.

Michigan is a key state that the Republican party won in 2016 for the first time in decades. This year, both parties are fighting to win Michigan’s sixteen electoral votes.

Pence, as well as President Donald Trump, will make several more stops across the country in the coming weeks.
