Lansing Community College
Standing at the north edge of downtown, Lansing Community College (LCC) is the third-largest community college in Michigan. It enrolls 15,000 students who take nearly 1,200 courses, according to Devon Bradley, Public Relations Director for LCC. LCC offers 320 available associate and certificate programs to its students and has over 1,600 faculty members.
Founded in 1957, LCC is currently expanding, adding a new wing to the Gannon Building for student lounge areas. It has sent over 2,900 students to universities and has a well respected arts program. The LCC campus also features over 90 works of art, historic buildings, and a Japanese garden.
