I can’t believe in just over a week, I graduate! And so does the majority of Focal Point. Today is my last official day of classes and it’s chaos until graduation on Friday, May 7. The market is scary but I have been networking through the university and I can’t believe what a wonderful brand “Michigan State University” has become for me. Our school of journalism is prestigious and very well known. Everyone I’ve met, besides a few Wolverines, are impressed with the name of MSU.
I feel like I have to take everything I’ve learned these last four years and apply it to the real world. It’s both scary and exciting! This Friday is our last show, which is bittersweet. My four years have been fun and hectic- working two jobs, internships, and a full load of classes each semester but I know my hard work will pay off. I will definitely miss all of my friends, coworkers, classmates and professors– not to mention the city of East Lansing! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we’re able to keep in touch.
