This week’s episode of Focal Point, we’re live from Lansing’s Christmas tradition, “Silver Bells in the City.” The face of Michigan State Basketball is now in Detroit’s Thanksgiving parade. With new bills in the Michigan House, sports betting may soon be legal in the state. 

Transgender Day of Remembrance was this past Wednesday and members of the Transgender community gave us some insight on the holiday. The Sears at Frandor Shopping Center has announced it’s closing early next year. 

In sports, Michigan State football had a tough loss to in-state rival Michigan while the basketball team had a more personal loss. 

In entertainment, we preview movies coming to theaters soon as well as the dying market for video stores.
