You may never look at a coffee shop the same, especially when you can sip your coffee and hang out with some furry friends.
The Constellation Cat Cafe recently opened their doors in East Lansing. As a non-profit, all of their profits go towards assisting the needs of cats in shelters and on the streets, providing for food, water and shelter.
For $8 a person, you can spend an hour with the cats in a room.
There’s roughly 12 to 15 cats in the room at a time, but you’re bound to catch one taking a nap or two.
If you happen to fall in love with one of the cats, and wish to take them home, you’re in luck.
“All of the cats in the cafe are adoptable and looking for their forever homes,” said Kelsey Maccobs, executive manager of Constellation Cat Cafe.
“They come from our rescue partner Saved by Zade which is a foster based rescue group
You can fill out an adoption application on their website. The adoption fee is $125.
