Michigan State’s University Activities Board hosted the annual screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show last Friday, October 26th.

Students anticipated the exciting show as they waited in line for hours dressed as their favorite character from the retro film. The screening featured a shadow cast, prop bags for the audience and free popcorn.

It also featured a giveaway, and the student who won the costume contest received two tickets to a Wharton Center play.

UAB co-director, Legan Rose, was one of the mastermind’s behind organizing the thrilling event.

“We’ve been planning this event for about two months, day and night, making sure that everything was organized,” she said. “We wanted to make sure that students were going to enjoy it and also make it better than last years.”

She wasn’t familiar with Rocky Horror, but has grown very familiar with it since she’s been a student at MSU.

The first time I saw it was with UAB my freshman year,” said Rose. “I had no idea what I was getting into and it was something to see, it was very entertaining to watch and it’s definitely an experience every college student should have.”
