Grand Ledge Garden Club

The Grand Ledge Garden Club is in full swing again this year with their encouragement for residents to purchase trees and the annual geranium sale happening throughout April.

Every year they have a geranium sale fundraiser through April 24, where residents can buy geraniums to make their yard more beautiful for $3.25. They have a variety of colors, including red, white, fuchsia, light pink, dark pink and salmon pink.

Along with the geranium sale, residents are able to buy a memorial tree with a variety of different trees available. The purchase includes the tree, its planting, and one year of maintenance and insurance for the tree.

The club has planted more than 300 memorial trees along the main streets in Grand Ledge. There will be a dedication of the garden club trees on May 22.

For more information about the geranium sale, contact Terri Pline at (517) 285-3291 or Cecil Miller at (517) 622-0323. To learn about the garden club trees, contact Marsha at (517) 622-2856.
