Lansing Community College held Star Search on Saturday February 12.
Star Search is performed completely in American Sign Language.
LCC has been holding Star Search’s since 1997 as a way to allow the students in the interpreter training program to cut loose and have a little fun.
Students involved say “the program [to become an interpreter] is demanding and this is just fun, it reminds us why we do what we do.”
Performers included certified interpreters to beginning signers.
