Student Sponsored Ice Skating Fundraiser

Munn Ice Arena hosted an open skate night but this time skaters could take part in making a difference. A writing class from MSU put on a fundraiser to try and raise money for Upward Bound and East Lansing High School. The fundraiser encouraged skaters to play games, participate in a raffle and buy baked goods. The fundraiser was completely student run and they told us that they feel good getting out of the classroom and into the community to make a difference. The fundraiser rallied a little over sixty dollars.
